The busine$$ of music...

Hello blogging community:

In the business world, music has always created its own beat.  In later posts, I will try to define some best practices used by a few of the most successful indies in the industry.  The web has made it possible for artists and composers to reach audiences in a more direct format and over several user friendly platforms.

However, there are a few business prinsiples that need to be understood first.  After this happens, putting the puzzle together becomes easier if you are an independent artist that wishes to remain independent.  Needless to the say, funding or capital is one of the most important items needed.
