How to play a power chord? Perhaps one of the most asked questions from guitar players!
A "power" chord speaks more to a tone quality than to a chord formula.
However, there is a simple formula we need to follow though.
The formula is a Root note plus the Fifth note on top. So, the Root + P5 interval.
Examples: C and G, A and E, and F and C.
The form is simple too…1st finger on the Root and 3rd finger on the string below and skipping a fret.
