Bandcamp takes the creative process from its inception, WHICHEVER IT IS!!!  They are one of the few platforms that allows for a flexible upload/download format.  They are also one of the few that allows for 100% flexible pricing.  They are also one of the few services that is FREE for artists.  The statistical reports they offer artists are extremely understandable and simple to generate, and also interpret!  You will not feel alone as an Indie (if that is your status), since many of the superstars also use Bandcamp as one of their selling platforms.  Their point of sale (POS as it is properly accronymed in the business world), takes the music and musician from point A to Z.

Their pricing is extremely simple.  This pricing is a simple percentage that only varies based on whether the tune got sold digitally or physically.  YES!  They sell in both formats simultaneously if needed.  A third party review could be found here. 

For extremely conscientious business related reasons that usually are overlooked by musicians, Bancamp is a must for every artist.  Many of the other Internet based platforms are great for the mechanics behind the promotion and the administration perks.  However, as we stated in the beginning, the analogy of getting a great microphone and the acoustics surrounding the project must be correlated.  A close relationship should also exist in the promotional world of music and the final POS in such music.  Again, for many of the reasons discussed, this digital platform for music promotion scores high in the music business.
